Plot:
As each Superman is sent to the other Superman’s world as they fight they attempt to save that world but each fails; with Kal-El failing to fully understand the Earth 2 and Kal-L failing to fully understand the complexity of Earth 1. As their respective world dies they return to their battle; each now aware of the other’s world, and become more determined than ever to stop them from bringing their world into the new reality.
